 Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you and Amelie Safari.

1. Payment Terms

  • A 30% down payment of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
  • The outstanding balance of your trip cost must be paid in full no later than 75 days prior to the scheduled trip starting date.
  • Any possible surplus resulting from changes or adjustments made during the trip can be paid out to the Guest or offset against other services on board

2. Cancellation Terms

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Amelie Safari. The following cancellation fees will apply based on the number of days prior to the arrival date:

  • More than 52 days prior: 15% cancellation fee.
  • Between 36 and 52 days: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Between 27 and 36 days: 35% cancellation fee.
  • Between 21 and 27 days: 55% cancellation fee.
  • Between 7 and 21 days: 80% cancellation fee.
  • Less than 7 days: 100% cancellation fee.

3. Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required down payment and our written confirmation. Amelie Safari reserves the right to refuse any booking.


4. Pricing and Inclusions/Exclusions 

  • The price of your trip includes only those services explicitly stated in your booking confirmation.
  • Unless otherwise specified, prices typically exclude international and domestic flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, additional activities not listed in the itinerary, and tips for the crew.
  • Any additional costs, such as equipment rental or private guide fees, will be communicated clearly and are subject to change.

5. Travel Insurance

We highly recommend that all Guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, diving accidents, personal liability, and loss of luggage. Amelie Safari is not responsible for any losses incurred due to the absence of travel insurance.


6. Guest Responsibilities

  • Diving Certifications: All certified divers must present a valid diving certification (e.g., PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent) and a logbook upon arrival.
  • Health and Fitness: Guests must be in good physical health and free from any medical conditions that could be aggravated by diving or other activities. It is your responsibility to consult with a medical professional if you have any concerns.
  • Compliance: Guests must comply with all safety instructions given by the crew and dive guides, as well as local laws and regulations.
  • Equipment: Guests are responsible for the proper care of any rented equipment. Damages or loss due to negligence may incur additional charges.

7. Changes by Amelie Safari

While we strive to adhere to published itineraries, Amelie Safari reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, schedule, or vessel due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to: 

  • Weather conditions
  • Mechanical issues
  • Safety concerns
  • Government regulations or restrictions
  • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, acts of war, epidemics)
In such cases, Amelie Safari will endeavor to provide suitable alternatives. No refunds will be issued for minor itinerary changes or if alternative arrangements of comparable value are provided.



8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.


9. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with your booking and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
