Born from the Sea, Built on Expertise
The story of Amelie Safari didn’t begin in a boardroom; it began on the dive deck. Our founder was born and raised in Hurghada, witnessing the evolution of the Red Sea firsthand. In 2011, this journey started as a bespoke, private service for a close circle of guests who sought more than just a tour—they sought the professional guidance of an instructor who truly called these waters home.
It was never about simply running trips. It was about sharing an original, high-quality diving experience rooted in local knowledge and technical precision. We believed that to create something truly special, the service had to be as deep and authentic as the sea itself.
The Launch of M/Y Amelie
For years, this vision was fueled by the unwavering support of our guests and a dedicated circle of lifelong friends—professionals in the diving industry who shared the same philosophy. In 2017, that collective dream took physical form with the launch of our first vessel, M/Y Amelie.
With her arrival, we began our first scheduled cruises, moving from a private service to a professional liveaboard operator. This milestone was a testament to hard work and the belief that a journey among friends, guided by experts, is the ultimate way to experience the Red Sea.
Expanding the Adventure
Growth at Amelie Safari has always been driven by the satisfaction of our guests. Their loyalty allowed us to reach a new milestone in 2024: the launch of our second boat, M/Y Amelie Adventures.
